Homemade, Watermelon Body Polish



Things You'll Need

1 Cup white sugar
2 Tbsp freshly squeezed lemon juice
1 Cup watermelon cubes
Blender
Air tight container

• Put approximately 1 cup of watermelon in blender.  Blend until smooth.
• Mix sugar into watermelon pulp until thoroughly mixed. Stir in lemon juice.
• Store in refrigerator in an air tight container for up to a week.
• Every time you shower, take a big yummy scoop and rub on to skin. Be sure to rinse thoroughly.

EASY, PEASY LIP POLISH 

Simple Sugared Grapefruit Lip Scrub

• Combine 6 drops of fresh grapefruit juice with 1 tbsp. white sugar. Blend well.
• Apply the grapefruit lip scrub to your lips and leave it for about 5 minutes.
• Massage the grapefruit lip scrub gently into your lips, and rinse it off with warm water.
• Allow your lips to dry, and apply moisturizer or lip balm.

Peppermint & Honey Lip Scrub

Ingredients:

sugar
honey
water
1 drop peppermint oil

• Mix together one quarter cup sugar, peppermint oil, 1 tablespoon honey, and 1 tablespoon olive oil. Add a little water, enough to make a paste.
• Hold a warm, wet washcloth over lips for a few minutes, to soften dead skin. Rub a small amount of the scrub over lips using gentle, circular motions. Rub for about a minute, but not long enough to irritate.
• Rinse off the scrub with the warm, wet washcloth.
• Follow with your favorite chap stick.



Note*  Only use once-twice per week.  Over exfoliating can cause damage to sensitive skin cells ;)

One item that's been on my "wish list" for a while is Too Faced's Sweet Dreams Palette. Firstly because of the products inside, secondly because of the fabulous packaging.

My Current Coral Crush!!

 

One of my Current Crazes is this Lasting Finish lipstick by Rimmel in Crush. 

 It's a gorgeous coral shade, perfect for the coming Summer season. I picked mine up at Walgreens this week for only $2.99 (on sale).

I've had them in my kit for quite some time but I'm now, finally getting the chance to enjoy them with this season's Coral trends.

Last craze of the week is Sinful Colors nail polish in Boogie Nights....I actually picked this up accidentally thinking that it looked a much brighter shade than it is but it actually turned out to be a great accident, with 2 coats it's a nice creamy coral shade. ($1.99 Rite Aid)
